This document is a draft template pending legal review, used only for the pre-launch page structure. The binding version is the one approved by a qualified lawyer.

Welcome to Quokka. By accessing or using our website, app and transport services you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before use.

1. The service

Quokka is a transport platform that connects passengers with licensed drivers/operators for airport transfers, point-to-point, charter and day-tour services. Each trip is delivered by the licensed driver/operator who accepts it.

2. Bookings and pricing

The price shown at booking is calculated from the trip details you provide. Where the actual trip differs from the booking (e.g. waiting, detours, extra distance), additional charges may apply and be settled per our rules.

3. Payment and refunds

Payments are processed by our third-party processor Airwallex. Refunds are handled under the applicable cancellation and refund policy; eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method.

4. Cancellations and no-shows

Cancellations must be made within the applicable time limits; late cancellations or failure to attend the agreed pickup (no-show) may be non-refundable or incur a fee.

5. User conduct

You must provide accurate information, comply with applicable laws, respect drivers and vehicles, and not use the service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Driver and operator licensing

Drivers/operators accepting trips must hold the valid passenger-transport accreditation and insurance required in their state/territory. We perform compliance checks, but the trip is provided independently by that driver/operator.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Victoria, Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts of that State.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time and will post changes on this page. For questions, use the live support channel published in the website footer.
